I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum for my question, but I couldn't find any other forum that would be suitable. I just became
Java 5.0 Programmer certified. I have two years of Java programming experience, mostly in AWT and Swing. I'm also familiar with
JDBC, JBuilder, and XML.
I am currently programming in Perl and C++ at work and am dying to get back to writing Java. My goal is to get a job programming in
J2EE technologies. I would like to learn some J2EE skills within a few weeks time, so I can put then on a resume and look for a job doing J2EE.
My question is two-fold:
1) What is the fastest/best way to learn the basics of J2EE?
2) What other skills/technologies can I pick up, which would complement J2EE, and look good on a resume?
Any and all advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
