Hello to everyone @JavaRanch, this is my very first post.
I know this is a Java forum site but I'd really appreciate any help on this topic.

I'm trying to connect my java Standalone client to an OC4J Standalone server v. 10.1.3.
My jdk version is 1.4.2_04 (both for the client and the OC4J), and the OC4J server is my localhost. The message I got at the client side is:
In IIOPInitialContextFactory ..
In IIOPInitialContextFactory getInitialContext..
javax.naming.CommunicationException: Cannot connect to ORB [Root exception is org.omg.CORBA.COMM_FAILURE: vmcid: SUN minor code: 208 completed: Maybe]
