No idea about job sites but sites like shaddi.com, simplymarry.com etc are doing well for girls who want to go permanent onsite.

In every job site you have feature to mention prefered country of work.
Just fill in that information!

I really doubt if any of these job sites are of much use for a fresh graduate. When i was a fresher, i had registered on almost 5-6 of them.... never got any calls in more than 3-4 months although i had already passed SCJP... The only call i ever got from one of those job sites was from a consultant who was willing to train me for 3-4 months and then give me a placement "depending on my performance"... and was asking for Rs. 1 Lakh as his fees...!!!

My Bad , not mentioned in the origianl post.
My question is for good , experienced java professional not for freshers.
You are very true , getting job as fresher is tough...really tough..jobs sites are not of much use in this case.

I really hate that word "fresher" dont quite know why!
For "freshers" it's a totally cruel world out there!
I have been a "fresher" at some point in time.
For "fresher" there is no need to advertise on job sites! Even if you go by internal company referal you would easily get 1000+ (easily more if an walkin) "freshers" turning out for the jobs! No wonder why job sites have to play a very little role here.
The competition is HUGE! But I think it is a nice learning experience anyways and nothing like ending up in a job on your own after all "those days"! Worth IT!

yeah thats true.... but actually freshers (even i dont like this word... but cant think of a substitute right now... ) are the ones who need these job sites to help them... i had also been to a couple of job fairs... the same story there too....

very true.... feels great now... and feels like a "nice" learning experience... but it wasnt particularly "nice" looking for a job, waiting for interviews, hoping for good results in "those days"!

Hello,

Naukri and monster india are the best job portal site in india, you get an very good response from both of these sites, for the job, actaully i got an job from naukri, also nowadays their are many job portal sites : such as bixee, indeed, yahoo hot jobs, gigjob.com, I preferably like naukri, monster and gigajob. Gigajob because you can view the resumes without even login and also an employer can also post the job for free. Gigajob is completely free job portal site for both the job seeker and employer. also gigajob is available in many versions,

Regards,
Harleen.
