I am SCJP certified, have fair knowledge of Servlets , Jsp and EJB. I am going to be looking for a job in a few days. my question is should I emphasize all the J2EE technologies on my resume or should I first look for a core java job? It seems that everyone's resume has Servlets. Jsp,EJB, spring, Hibernate, Struts.etc. And I feel that If I put down these(Servlets, JSP and EJB)on my resume, I might fumble on the interview. What do you guys think.? Should I maybe list those technologies but put in my job objective that I want to work in core java position so as to avoid being grilled on stuff Im not that comfortable with? It just feels like there is so much stuff to learn and memorize. Its like if I put down J2EE technologies, then I also have to put down other stuff like Tomcat, MySql, JBoss etc. Just studying for the core java part of the interview questions seems like so much stuff.

Use
Primary Skills: Core Java
Other known skills: JSP/Servlets/EJB

Remember though the rule that 90% questions in interview are based on your resume.

Hi,

I suggest you study well and practice core java first, have an over view of the other technologies, as you get confidence with core java start attending interview and move ahead with other technologies. If you are not comfortable with other things dont mention it in your resume.
