Hello,

I am working on an application that accesses LDAP using JNDI. I noticed that the javax.naming.directory.SearchControls class has a method called setDerefLinkFlag(boolean on) with which link dereferencing can be enabled (true) or disabled (false).
But, when I use the ldapsearch tool by Sun instead, not two but four options for link dereferencing are provided: 'never', 'always', 'search' or 'find'.
So, I am wondering: does the javax.naming.directory.SearchControls class just limit us to using 'always' (true) or 'never' (false), or is there another way to be able to specify 'search' or 'find'?
