Hi,
I have imported and existing wasdie 4.1 appln from clearcase into wsadie 5.1

When I try to run the application on the local test environment server i get

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: ../../../../BluesException
I do have the jar file in my build path which has this particular class.

When i click on this error trace i find that the error is generated at
a constructor call statement like

ABC abc= new ABC();

Kindly help me resolving this as i am not able to judge what the problem is as of now.

Thanks in advance

Ratan,
Note that WSAD has two paths that are relevant here. The build path is used at compile time. This you have set properly. The Java jar dependencies are used at runtime. You need to add the jar file to this. You can access the Java jar dependencies by right clicking the project and choosing properties.

Hi,
Firstly thanks for your reply. I tried this out and i am no longer getting the same error.

Since I am trying to connect to IMS throuugh my Java web application now I am getting the following error:

com.ibm.connector.imstoc.IMSAdapter@189bfde8.receive(InteractionSpec) error. IMS Connect returned error: MESSAGECODE=[HWSJ001E], RETCODE=[8], REASONCODE=[SECFAIL ].

I have no idea about this.

Thanks.

Ratan,
Good. That means the first problem is solved.

You might want to start a new thread for the question about IMS as people seeing this subject won't know to look for a different question. I recommend starting this thread in our WebSphere forum.
