is there any setting in j2ee where we tell the app server to use the latest versions of jars available. For eg if we have dom4j ver 1.5, dom4j ver 1.6. How do we tell the container to use the latest version of jar.

Hi Shashank Tilwalli,

Well as such i dont think you have mechanism in container to use the updated jsr version. The order of jar matter in classpath..So if you have dom 5.0 and then dom4.0 then dom5.0 class will be loaded instead of dom4.0

Just make sure only the latest version is in your classpath.

If you use Maven they have a repository so that each developer gets their jars from the repository and Maven can make sure everyone is up to date.
