I have been trying to look up the home interface object in the main method class as a client with a name enclosed by quotes. But the error comes as java.naming.NoInitialContextException.I use netbeans IDE with Sun Java System Application Server 8.2 to create, deploy and run EJB.In the deploytool for SJSAS 8.2 I could not see the place where I can give JNDI name for bean.I want to know that How should I give JNDI name for bean and the way to make a look up and finally the result through the client.

"rameshmca rk",

There aren't many rules that you need to worry about here on the Ranch, but one that we take very seriously regards the use of proper names. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.

Thanks!
