Hi,
Can I send java objects (that are not serializable) to a Topic or Queue
using JMS API ??

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Consider that messages travel among JVMs. Serialization is the usual way to get from the message an object that possibly comes from another JVM.

I believe you are using Object Message Type in JMS. You can send serialized Java Objects but only thing to consider is that

- you are out of luck if anything other than Java programme reads that message
- Message will have problem if it encounter data conversion enabled channel
- If O/s are different. If both sending and receiving programme use Java and same data conversion then shouldn't be a problem
