Hi Ranchers,

well I just need your feed back that what is the future of Message Broker Technologies or MQ series product of IBM .
as i got project in these technologies , and also some maintenance of Webservices ?

i have done regular mca and scjp1.4 with 90% and I have around 2.5 yrs of exp in j2ee technologies and tasted each stuff like struts, portlets, jsf, ejb3.0, webservices etc bit (only jack of them )

I wanted to become Java architecht and wanted to clear SCEA exam within 1.5 yrs after clearing other certifications

in the department i am placed the work atmosphere is good and one can try hands in different technologies like Struts or Websphere portal/portlets .. but i felt this exiting... and i may have to manage team of 4-5 people.

Your feedback is important to me. kindly revert back with your wise advice..
Thanks

Regards,
Amit

It's hard to predict what the future of any technology product will be. Your post does not contain enough detail to say whether it's a good move. But betting on any one particular technology seems like a career-limiting move, so keep your options open, and continue to train yourself.

if you are worling only on MQ series ..its not good although there is demand of that people.
but on J2EE Side it invloves good tech : on JMS,MDB,Web Services.Try to work on that side too..it is quite intresting.
