What is the lurning curve for Seam???

Is the risk level important for "newbies" in JSF & Seam to start a new application?

Thanks.

Well it depends. Have you any web development experience? Do you have any EJB experience. Some of that will help you lessen the learning curve. I don't know what "lurning" is.

I had very little web UI development experience but lots of EJB and Hibernate experience, and I found Seam to be really easy to learn, yes there was some little things that I couldn't figure out why what I did didn't work, but as you go along you get those things. But it never stopped me from going forward on a project. Which I believe shows a great deal of how easy something is to learn, if I can still go on and complete my project when I had no experience with the technology before I started, is a great demonstration on that.

As Mark mentioned, it depends on how much experience you have in web applications. SEAM integrates a lot of frameworks, so in order to understand whats going on, you need to have atleast a basic understanding (if not working experience) of the technologies.
