I only have an OReilly example (com.titan.cabin) which describes
deploying into the Sun J2EE 1.3 server and using the GUI deployer tool.

I have the Sun J2EE 1.4 server running here
and have followed the OReilly instructions as best as possible with
only a few minor cases of missing buttons and fields on the the Deployer.

(e.g. Cloudscape db is gone, a new db Derby is in, there is no way to reach "deployment setting" to set "Support Client Choice".)

Yet, strange things are happening.

Does anybody know of a step-by-step description of deploying an EJB and its client.jsp, from MyBean.java to MyApp.ear??

The Sun J2EE 1.4 Tutorial uses a lot of deploytool http://java.sun.com/j2ee/1.4/docs/tutorial/doc/

You can give it a shot.
