Post your guess here. Let Javaranch offer a free book to the winners....kidding!

My guess is Spain!

Even before Paul predicted it, I predicted Spain to win just on the day the World cup started and now my prediction is true. Congratulations to Spain!

Chose the book you like

Congrats to Spain and Congrats to Jyothi for predicting it correct at the start of the world cup. Did you did some study or you predicted it on the basis that it was most favorite team? I would say still predicting it at start of world cup was amazing.
At few stages of the final I thought I am watching kick boxing.

I wanted Holland to win but I do not consider they played good yesterday.

They played horribly. They deservedly didn't win.

Well, we lost... but there was still a big celebration in Amsterdam yesterday, with 700.000 people there to welcome the soccer team.

And even though they lost, they did reach the final, which hasn't happened since 1978.
