I have just bought the book "Head First EJB" and it seems that the targeted certification in that book is the SCBCD 1.3 (with EJB 2.0).
I am planning to pass the SCBCD 5.0 based on EJB 3.0.

Do you think this book worth reading in this context, and could yo give me a clue on the extra work needed to learn the EJB 3.0 part ?

Thanks for your advices

Gilles

Gilles,
While the book is a good read in learning how things work, it is more for the concepts at this point. You still need an EJB 3.0 book as so much has changed in EJB. And the exam objectives to see what you should focus on.

Jeanne,

Thank you for your feedback. If i understand well, i would have
to do without the Sierra & Bathes humour for my EJB 3.0 certification
training ;-).

Yes. Unfortunately. I'm sure you'll remember them for other topics though!

He is Bates, not Bathes.
