I have a read-only CMP Entity bean which is created in such a manner that the fields are refreshed once in a day. Let's say the table is having 5 columns and i am okay with rest of the four colums to have the values the same for the whole day but one of the column's value should change every minute(if not precisely every minute but as and when it's getting changed)
One choice is make it non-readonly so that as and when there is any change in the DB record-the change is picked up at the next ejbLoad() call.
Is it possible that the same can be achieved if i write EJB-QL to select that particular dynamic record every 1 minute and remaining 4 column values to be read-only(i.e. no referesh requires). I wanted to have the same performance of the ReadOnly entity beans but want to make sure that the dynamic field's value is getting picked up.
We are using CMP 2.0 on WebLogic App Server 9.2
