Hi its a newbie question
I have a stateless session bean, can i write the following code there ( jdbc transaction)

<code>
con.setAutoCommit(false);
PreparedStatement updateSales = con.prepareStatement(
"UPDATE COFFEES SET SALES = ? WHERE COF_NAME LIKE ?");
updateSales.setInt(1, 50);
updateSales.setString(2, "Colombian");
updateSales.executeUpdate();
PreparedStatement updateTotal = con.prepareStatement(
"UPDATE COFFEES SET TOTAL = TOTAL + ? WHERE COF_NAME LIKE ?");
updateTotal.setInt(1, 50);
updateTotal.setString(2, "Colombian");
updateTotal.executeUpdate();
con.commit();
con.setAutoCommit(true);
</code>

DO I need any changes in DD to handle transaction?

Thanks
Manoj

You should be using EJB transactions instead of jdbc transactions. Check other posts in this forum or use a search engine for information on how to do this.
