can we create folder in client machine using EJB RMI?

i want to create folder and file in client machine in client server architecture.currently i used applet..can we use EJB or RMI to to work with client side(client side keyboard support and create folder )

No. I'm pretty sure you would need t have a client application (and not one in the browser) to access the file system.

It may be possible to use signed applets to achieve what you want to do, but it would be hard work. A better solution may be to use Java Web Start instead of applets.
