i am completely new to EJB.
And I guess I want to do a very wise thing - read a book.
I feel that is the way to learn things.

So you wise and experienced people - can you advise me the best book to learn EJB ?

hi,

Head First EJB is the best book for beginners,
Mastering Enterprise Javabeans,
EJB in Action,
Professional EJB

these are the best books to read.

Thanks for the reply.

I dont want to read a beginners book.
I dont want to read one book which does only elementary things and read another book. This takes time.

I would rather go for a intermediate book, I will stumble initially but then with practice, I will understand.

So I guess Mastering EJB would be a good choice Or Professional EJB ?

I'd say get Head First EJB. You should also get Beginning EJB 3 Application Development, which is a decent discussion of EJB3.

Have fun!

Avoid Mastering EJB. I recommend EJB3 in Action. Good luck.
