there is a good market for J2ee/java ,, specially in london..
with 6 years of experience , you should be able to get somewhere in the range 40k - 50k p.a ,, or may be more, all depends on your experience, the quantity and the quality.

Thanks for reply guys.

Can somebody tell me if I earn 50K GBP in UK. What will be my saving considering decent life style(In Indian standard)?
I mean how much I will be spending on rent (3 BHK flat or villa)?
How much monthly on telephones ,internet, electricity ,car ,fuel, grocery etc ? And
of course pubs ?

Is there any rancher staying in UK?

you can find information on HSMP here --> http://www.workingintheuk.gov.uk/working_in_the_uk/en/homepage/schemes_and_programmes/hsmp.html

Its an alternative way for skilled immigrants to get in to UK and work,, i mean for those who are not able to get a work permit. There is a point scheme. You can find about this in the above link.

er,, about cost of living,,,
I live in london, working in the IT industry and doing a MSC.. London is obviously expensive than other areas in England. But, there are lots of jobs as well. If you are getting 50k , its a very good salary, even in London standards. Accomodation and travelling are the expensive things. Food is not that expensive. clothing again a bit expensive, but you can always find cheap and a considerable quality in some places. You can find some hints on Cost of living here,, http://www.workgateways.com/working-cost-of-living.html
But, dont take these figures as exactly correct, as always, its up to you to decide on your expenses. Getting 50k , obviously you should be able to save some money and live a decent life style in london. depends on how many are staying with you and all,, anyway, hope this info helps.
