Hi All,

I'm trying to use an Application client to work with a bean deployed in SJSAS 8.2. For that we should pass a properties file to InitialContext with the following parameters.

<blockquote>code:
<pre name="code" class="core">
Properties env = new Properties();
env.put("java.naming.factory.initial","com.sun.jndi.cosnaming.CNCtxFactory");
env.put("java.naming.provider.url","iiop://localhost:3700");
Context ic = new InitialContext(env);
</pre>
</blockquote>

But I couldn't find the CNCtxFactory class in j2ee.jar or appserv-rt.jar under the com.sun.jndi.cosnaming package (i.e : infact there is no such package). Is that class contain in another jar file? or any other class can be used instead?

Thanks in advance,

Did you try searching for the class in all the jars in your appserver lib folder. You can use any application which can search through archives. By the way, which application server are you using.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
