Hi all,
Im to develop a stand alone java client for my ejb3 app (which consists of a few entity beans and corresponding session beans to manage those entities and remote interfaces for the session beans). Right now, Im packaging the client and the ejb in the same ear but I want to have my client moved to a different machine. Below is part of my client code

What changes will I have to make to the above code so it can connect with the ejb in the other machine. Also, will I have to package the ejb as jar along with the client? My client references the remote interfaces as well as the session and entity beans. But if i have to add the entire ejb module as a jar it doesnt make much sense to have it running on a remote machine.
Kindly help

ps: the client will be deployed as war in tomcat and ejb3 module will be running on jboss.

"jakij",
Please fix your display name again. Both a first name and last name are required. Now you only have one name.

You showed up just in time for the waffles! And this tiny ad:
