Hi,
In our environment, we have a war and ear file (containing the EJB) seperately till now.
For some reason, I want to have a newer instance of the same EJB class deployed in Weblogic 9.2 along with the older version(ie. two ear files, one old code and one new).
At 1st I thought just giving a different JNDI name should do and was actually able to deploy also in weblogic.
However, the war file still tries to look for the old code only, even though I changed the build path to refer to the new code.
Any tips ? Is it even possible to have two instances of the same EJB class work like that ?
regards,
Prashant

Prashant,
Two copies of the same class cannot be deployed at the same time. You could create the new EJB with a different name or put it in a different package.
