Hi All,
I was working on some Entity Bean and was just wondering with following:

class variable retrieveDeclineRecordsOnly is correct value in ejbFindBy..() method. But in ejbLoad() method it is having the old value.
How can i get the correct value of retrieveDeclineRecordsOnly in ejbLoad() method?

public ContributionEntityKey ejbFindByProfileIdContractId(ContributionEntityKey primaryKey, int noOfRecords)
throws FinderException {

// some bussiness logic here
this.retrieveDeclineRecordsOnly = noOfRecords;
return primaryKey;

public void ejbLoad() {
ContributionEntityKey key
= (ContributionEntityKey) getEntityContext().getPrimaryKey();
if (this.retrieveDeclineRecordsOnly != 0) {
this.declinedProcessedRemarks = this.deferralDAO.getAccountManagementDeferralDeclinedData(
key.getProfileId(), key.getContractNumber(), retrieveDeclineRecordsOnly);
this.retrieveDeclineRecordsOnly = 0;

Hi ramamohan gulla welcome to Javaranch .
Firstly please EaseUp, mentioning urgent in the subject wont really help you instead consider using a meaningful subject line.
You showed up just in time for the waffles! And this tiny ad:
