Hi,
I am currently in US and planning to relocate to India. I have a company(MNC) which is asking me to join them in Bangalore. Problem is I have never been to bangalore. I am from mumbai and have also worked in hyderabad for a period of 3 years.

My question is:
1. How is Bangalore city as compared to mumbai/hyderabad
2. Cost of living in Bangalore ?
3. What salary should I expect for 8.5 years of experience in lead role

City is nice you will get lot of oppourtunity here as compared to hyd/mumbai

It depends which area you want to stay. But one thing is sure Cost of living is high

i dont have much idea about salary but i beleive (10-12)l/pa would be a fair deal

Cleaner.More trees and planned roads and houses.You won't find medical shop besides milk shop followed by pub which is followed by children nursery.!!

High on average.Some areas may be one of the costliest in Asia where as some areas are affordable.

3. What salary should I expect for 8.5 years of experience in lead role

At least 12 Lakh per year.Thats 1 lakh(approx.$2900) per month.Some companies might give even more than this but depends on many factors like your skills,their value in market.

15 lakh to survive !!! you can survive in bangalore city for 2-3 lakh .
