please help me

How can we communicate with parallel port like expansion slot of IBM PC . Some commands like outportb and inportb are used to communicate with parallel port in C language . What is the quuilaent method in java.

I think you should explore JNI since you'll probably have to make you calls to the port using C code and then call this code using 'native' methods in Java. Have a look here for an example. I hope this helps.
