I need to implement a screen capture tool (capable to capture the whole desktop and the active window) in Java 1.2, which means the Robot Class will not be available for me. Can anyone give me a direct of that project, and available source codes? I use a WinNT4 for coding.

You can download a copy of JDK 1.3 and look at the file src.jar, which contains the source code for all the Java classes implemented in the JDK (except native methods). I usually view jar files using WinZip - any tool that can unzip files can also work on jar files.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
