My company has filed H1-B visa for me. If I get through the lottery system, then I will face interview in October. My questions are
1. How is the H1-B visa interview? What questions are expected?
2. If I leave the company after getting H1-B visa (without going onsite), then will my visa remain valid? Or Do I need to apply again from new company?
Pls advice.

Your H-1B is invalid if you quit without going onsite.

H-1B is always issued with company's name on it.

Thanks

Once you leave the company which has applied your H1B , you H1B visa will be invalid.

You have to again apply for a fresh H1B next year with a new employer as sponsor.

if you have the offer letter from the company which sponsored the H1B (Job Offer) and your Visa is stamped you can always travel to US(unless they revoke the H1). Once you are in US you can ally for a transfer H1 to another company.

If I get the H1-B visa and if I travel to US and then I come back to india and resign, then whether the H1-B visa is valid?
What questions are expected in the H1-B interview?

Would anybody like some fudge? I made it an hour ago. And it goes well with a tiny ad ...
