Hey I have 4.5 years of exp in software industry ( 1.5 in Company1 + 2 yrs in CMM Level 5 Company 2 + 1 year in current company3).
Though I dont wanted to switch company at this moment project related compelling factors are forcing me to do so.
Though my designation in current company is senior software engineer, I was lead for last 2 projects/Modules in current company.
My Technical experience involves Core Java,Swings,AWT,Struts,EJB,Hibernate,Spring,GWT etc..My Current package is 7L Per annum.
My Communication skills are OK ( as rated by Manager) though not very good.
Without taking company's name, can anyone guide me as what expected package should I put on my CV? I would like my next company to be atleast medium size and well doing
as I dont want to switch agaib in near future.I am not very much interested in going abroad so i heard that some
companies pay more if they dont have onsite opportunities in near future...
Any Help would be very much appreciated.....THANKS...!

Well, as many would say 'it depends'. To put my 2 cents (or 20 paise):

1. Current package (around 10-40% in MNCs, 'much more' in small cos.)

2. Pune, as far as I know, does not have salaries comparable to what one can get in Hyderabad,B'lore or Delhi. So you should also try out-of-Pune companies.

All the Best!

You can ask for at least 10 LPA. Pune salaries are better than Hyderabad & Delhi - only second to Bangalore.
