Hi All,
I got a surprise call from the company and they conducted an immediate telephonic interview.I got selected and there was a Aptitude and Technical round.I am happy that i have cleared both of them. Now, the final HR round i need some suggestions from you all regarding one thing. Its a MNC and the job location will be most probably in Pune or Mumbai. One thing which is confusing me is what i need to answer if the HR asks me regarding my salary expectation.I am afraid that i should not say more than the company standard.I have heard that Mumbai is costlier than pune so how much i need to tell please help me.

Thanks,
Vicky

Thats a tough question people have in mind when they plan to attend HR round

You'll have to find that out by contacting the people working in that company and conclude based on
1. For your experience & skills what is the range of salary the company generally offers
2. How well you did the interview.

I have heard that Mumbai is costlier than pune so how much i need to tell please help me.

You can always speak to the HR regarding the cost of living in Pune Vs Mumbai. The HR do understand that difference and generally offer better salary for people opting for Mumbai

If you are fresher you wont be having much scope to bargain the salary. So tell them as per company standards. Yes for fresher the salary depends on degree and the college from where you passed out.

Good Luck
