Situation
-----------
I have a tomcat apache server running on a m/c . I have my outlook configured to receive my company's mail . I have my web page . Web page shall be submitted to this tomcat server where the server side coding in the web page shall connect to my out look and trigger a mail back .
Actual intention is far more than merely replying back with an email .I need to be able to reply or trigger a mail when the web page is NOT used by the client but when say he sends a mail to my address by using any other way...say for ex thru his outlook or say thru his hotamail ! HOW DO I DETECT NEW MAILS IN MY INBOX SO THAT AS SOON AS I GET ONE I PROCESS IT AND SEND A REPLY OR PERFORM SOME ACTION !!!??

"wasti",
The Java Ranch has thousands of visitors every week, many with surprisingly similar names. To avoid confusion we have a naming convention, described at http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp . We require names to have at least two words, separated by a space, and strongly recommend that you use your full real name. Please log in with a new name which meets the requirements.
Thanks.
Sean
