Hi
I am developing an application which has following features :
1. Different user rights for logging in
2. Different types of fonts
3. Different drawable components
4. Support for many languages.
now i want to provide each of these features as plugins. i.e. they will not be part of the basic functionality. But user can download these plugins and the application will automatically have these added features ( without any change in the source code of the basic application ). how
do i go about designing such plugins and such an application. has anyone done something like this in java before? i understand that there will be
an interface between the app and the plugins. i want to make it so general that adding any other plugins later on should also be possible
without much change. can somebody help me regarding this.
regards,
Padmanabh
