Hello..
I was wander why I can't run an Applet on Windows XP. I had tried to use <Object> tag as below which I included all the setting for plug-in.
<OBJECT classid="clsid:8AD9C840-044E-11D1-B3E9-00805F499D93" width="300" height="100" align="baseline">
<PARAM NAME="code" VALUE="TimeLineApplet/TimeLine.class">
</OBJECT>
So, I can't even view the applet on the brower. Can Windows XP support applet or we have to download any plug in? If we have to, can you tell me where and which version to download? Besides, do we have to make any change on the IE option like enable cookies or bla bla bla...
I hope someone can help me and give me an answer with it. Thanks.

WinXP should support applets built with version 1.1.4 or lower. Otherwise you need to use the plug-in.

No changes to cookies, etc are necessary.
