Hi there.

I have been going through one of the beginner examples from Code Barn and I am a little confused by one of the methods.

Which forum should I use to ask questions specifically about Code Barn examples?

For now I am going to post my question on the Java General Beginner forum.

thanks
Rory

The Beginner's forum seems right for Code Barn questions. If the moderators feel that the discussion goes beyond beginner's topics, they'll move it to the Intermediate forum, so don't worry about it.

The code barn has recently been broken up into categories (stalls).
Which example do you want to discuss?

It was the Shape example which uses the Graphics class to write the word Java.

I was confused because the fillRect() method is labelled as abstract n the Java API docs, yet the code invokes the method by referencing the Graphics class.

I have posted the question in the Java Beginners forum, please have a look.
