Thats Good ! Congrats Raju!

Its very difficult to answer based on the designation. The best thing to do is speak to the project manager or senior people who took the interview.

it will be testing through VBScripts

Based on your previous posts I thought you were being interviewed for Java Developer position

Work is always perspective of each person .. work A that interests person A can be equally ( or more ) boring for person B ..
Think deeply where you want to go in your career, what interests you and check if your job is a step in that direction or not ..
looks like the offer you got will take you into testing domain ..

cheers
Swapnil

Hi All,
Thanks swapnil and srikanth for your replies.Srikanth i have done B.C.A and i am a fresher.Actually i thought they would give me a development job but manager spoke to me that developer positions are assigned to B.tech/M.C.A candidates. So he has told me that if my performance is good in the company they would give me a software development job.I like the company and the there work.I am looking for a software development job but when manager told me that it will be given on my performance i thought i can get it easily because i want to work hard and want to move into development. So how i need to proceed?.

As you manager has said work hard and show them that you are both good at your work and also good at learning new things faster and also make them know that you are in fact aiming to get into development. I mean they should know that you know also to code apart from just testing. Once they know this combines with your good performance, you should be soon moved into development.

One more thing you can do is give a couple of certifications like SCJP, SCWCD/SCBCD depending on what your current company is more into.

Completely agree with the suggestion on certificaions made above. Also dedicate some time for learning. It generally happens that once you get set in a project, you cannot take off time to learn new things.
