hi all
i was reading JNDI and i read SPI and API conventions. i read a paper written having some more explanation about SPI and API etc (found via Gooogle) but i'm not really convinced about the use of SPIs.
i mean why increase one more level of things? i understand that if there are SPIs at some places they might be worth using because ppl rn't crazy
can anybody try to explain it to me in better way or provide some pointers to some links or books which could satisfy me?
i tried to think myself about the utility of SPI but i think if like JNDI has- SPIs r only set of some factory interfaces/abstract classes then how far it is worth using it which would increase one more level of dereferencing and all u know...
please help me.
