On internet i found Whizlab software for cracking the exam of cost 750 Rupees & also a book Kathy & berts.Which one should i purcase?please mail me at [email protected] as soon as possible or reply me through this forum.

I am jobless person right now(b/z fresher passed B.E. in 2006) & i think certification will help me in getting a job.

Hi - and welcome to the ranch.

a) Java 1.5 is the same as 5.0.

b) I dont think you should buy "cracked" software.

c) Doing something, such as getting certified, is also a plus compared to lying on the couch.. I'd just like to mention, that getting a Java Certification will only show that you know Java syntax, but it wont say anything about your ability to create software.

Just to make things clear. He wants to crack the exam, not the software

Please reply in the forum and not through personal messages or email, as explained here. We have lots of other useful tips for asking questions on JavaRanch as well.

SCJP is better than lying on the couch but do not expect certification to
make you a better software devloper or employers to hire you because of it. Certification can help but nothing can beat hands on experience and what you learn from it. Take your time preparing for it and apply what you learn in your certification practically e.g. at work, sample project etc.
