Hi All!
I'm pleased to enter into this forum!!
I've 2yrs of Mainframe, 1yr of Testing Tools experience, 2-3 yrs of Java Dev. experience. I'm presently into Java related technologies..

I've done some Web applications using Tomcat, Servelt, JSP, JDBC, JAXB, XML etc.. Presently i'm unemployed due to personal reasons!!

1. Can any senior guys tell me, what the INDUSTRY expects from 3yr experienced guy in Java??
2. What kind of technologies do we need to know for 2-3 yrs of Java experience.??
3. Do i need to have any Struts and EJB experience ??

Please let me know!!

Thanks Arulk!!
For answering and also giving a good link!! I still have some more doubts regarding the skills required !!

1. Do we need to know WebServices, SOAP, XML etc like technologies!!
2. For Core Java, JSP, Servlets, EJB, etc upto what level and what are the concepts we need to know from an interview perspective!!
3. And what are the HOT topics companies are looking in a 2-3 yr experienced developer??
4. I want to apply as a senior developer, so it sufficient if i know the following in Core Java.

Core Java: OOPs concepts, Exception Handling, Concurrency , Collections, IO.

Please answer!!

UML,
Design Patterns: If required, what patterns i need to know in general for Java and & JEE.
Tools: CVS, Ant,Junit etc.

and am i missing something!!

Do i need to know the above and anything else and upto what level ??
