hi friends,
I have started my career on ruby on rails platform and I feel comfortable coding in ruby. Is it a good option please give suggestions.

Welcome to JavaRanch.

While RoR is hot right now, no language in general, or framework in particular, is going to stick around in the long term. Make sure to keep up-to-date on other languages and frameworks, too, as well as more general -and thus more widely applicable- trends in design and architecture.

In future will ruby on rails be used as many of the companies are using Java now and is ruby powerful compared to Java or not.
