What are the different possible ways through which one can move to U.S. How do i find a H1B sponsored job ? Which sites to surf and look for it. I am looking for ways to move to U.S. Current skill set is 7+ yrs in J2EE and working for a wellknown IT multinational in India.

1)Get another offer and threaten to resign from current job if this multinational does not send you to US.Now the market is hot so your employer should process the visa.
2)Established body shoppers who are into this business for many years.Currently if you do some search on naukri/dice/monsterindia, you will find these companies are slowly giving the ads for H1B for 2008.By december/Jan, they start scanning the resumes.

I like it

I would say if you are very critical person in the project. The company might even offer you anything under sun.

Sandip, you don't know the motivations of the original poster. Depending on what those are the advice given could very well be different. So the question for the motives seems relevant.

Thanks for the host of replies for the post. Let me answer one by one.

- Threatening from the current job is impossible. One trouble is i have latest joined it and am thinking if i try right now atleast i should be in U.S. by next year october with the new job. Also where i am working currently is a class A multinational, a HUGE company, i dont think they care for a single person.

- Established bodyshoppers is a good choice. But how do I know that they are really reliable ?

- Why do i want to go to U.S. ? Now this is a bit tricky question. For what ever reason others have gone till now can be an answer. Alternately, spending some part of life in a developed country and MONEY is always a key factor. I dont find any point in staying and working for all your career years in India Only. And regarding how much worth is it to stay/live in U.S. for an Indian, I will launch a seperate discussion thread for it, later. So lets filterout the worthiness thing and stick to HOW (not WHY) !!! Thank you.

Please see if you can add more advice in this thread.

- Check with your friends who already in US.
- Go thru some forums like www.path2usa.com where users posts their experiences with body shoppers.
- Approach different body shoppers and apply who ever have better terms and conditions. Preferably find some one who don't ask you money or security deposit.

Good Luck
