Hi, Can you tell me the strategies for creating Instance pools in Java. What are the different public methods to be created in the Pooling/controlling class. Should this class be a Singleton? Thanks

Whether you are interested in using an existing pooling scheme or writing your own, you might want to start at: Apache Jakarta pools . You can download the pooling classes and use or extend them as necessary. Or you can read through their documentation and get an idea of what they define as a public interface.
