What is the standard way to open files larger than 2GB in java?

What is the problem? I'm aware of a bug with ZipInputStream/ZipOutputStream that prevents it, out of the box, from correctly dealing with files over 2GB but I have not had any other problems.

Having said that, the underlying O/S must support it too. I've used Win2K, RedHat 9, and Solaris 9 and had no problems with 2GB+ files.
