Is there any way to call a Java servlet or class from Powerbuilder. I saw someone mention this in a post from 2001 but there were no details of how to do it. I need to find a way to execute some Java code from Powerbuilder and I also need to be able to send it an argument. I really do not need a return back. Thanks to anyone who may be able to help!

I haven't done PowerBuilder since, um, v5 I think. You ought to be able to access raw sockets, or an OCX control for sockets. Google for PowerBuilder sockets and see what you hit.

Stan,
Thank you for your reply. Sorry mine is so delayed. I will definitely try this, although I am not sure if we will be permitted to use sockets in our new environment. Do you know of any other alternatives just in case?
Thank again for your help.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
