Hi out there,
I have developed a Java / JXTA-Based Filesharing-application, all works well right now:-)
Now I have to cooperate with a C++-Application. One way to do this is to parse the results of the application.
But there is also a c++-API to interoperate with the C++-Application. So I could also write a C++-Application and communicate with it e.g. via xml.
My Question: Is there also a way to use the c++-API within my JAVA-Application, so I dont have to program an extern solution?
Note: My last C++-experiences are a few years ago
Thanx a lot
Mark

no, there isn't (unless you use JNI).

Does the application support something like SOAP (you did mention you can send it XML?)?
If it does you can use that as it's language and platform independent.

No I dont think I can use soap.
OK than I will see if its better to parse or to write a simple xml-interface.
Thanx for your help.
Bye
