Onsite offers in IT companies Vs MNCs

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
I have heard many say that they can go for onsite if they are working in one of top 5 Indian IT companies. I am curious to know what will they be able to save there in US with the salaries that are given by these companies ? Also if that person has a family will they pay a different package ? Will they be able to save the same if they have a family ?

On the other hand nowadays MNCs in India are offering lucrative salaries and wont this be a better option ?

There is no guarantee that if you join a co that is amongst top 5 in India that they will file your H1B. If they do file there is no guarantee that they will send you onsite. Most cos these days prefer L1 as it is more economical and safe for them (You wont be able to quit your job onsite for greener pastuers in the US) or worse B1 if it is short duration. Also onsite does not mean US to them, it can be anywhere on the globe [ ]. Well all this if you are crazy to go onsite. Else well there are hordes of MNCs you can join that pay you really well and ofcourse little or no onsite.

I am a native North American, I see well over half my job opportunities taken away FN's, and am now legally a minority - the only reason I have survived long enough to say that is by acclimatizing to FN's from a bordering countries culture to the point that I trust them farther than I do my own people.

At the rate I.T. can pay, you could take MNC'S or H1-B/L-1 N.A. or pretty much do anything you chose, but does the company REALLY fulfill promises at offering....

That is a nasty question I have great experience with and I can tell you forthwith that if you have domestic MNCs in India who will pay anything decent by standards and scales recognize and can correlate to a specific standard of living which you can determine is sufficient for familial responsibilites, then by chaotics you must take that. You can find 'greener pastures' ( better conditions ) easily from such a job because the nature of the industry is such that any reasonably skilled person hears about most oppportunities through informal networking.

The caliber and trustworthiness of a job found by such informal networking is safer by a measurable margin than by advertised job markets where the reason an advertisement is being placed is because they do not treat help well enough to draw and attract competent persons by informal networking.

My academic liason for my pet project lives on the other side of the globe, the optical bandwith has reduced the entire global reach to a net zero length transmission factor, if you can support familial burdens safely - and do coding work while doing so, you will have a better selection than by going on the open job market.

I have twenty years and 50,000 hours in another field, that is true in that field. Not totally always the only way it is done, just true in the overview.
