1. As you would run any executable from the command line. None - telnet and Java are unconnected technologies.
2. Depends on how you connect to it. For example through Remote Desktop you get a view of the remote desktop so you can capture it as you would capture anything on your screen (i.e. Print Screen). None - Remote Desktop and Java are unconnected technologies.
3. Depends what sort of OS you remote system is running. If its Unix for example you could run ps and pipe the results to something which interprets them, or just read them yourself. None.
4. Depends on the process and the remote OS. None.
