Hi,

Is there any opensource implementation of Presence(generic) framework compatible with sip,xmpp ?

If anyone has attempted this,please let me know

Dude, please try google.com. The FIRST result I got back was http://www.jabber.org/

They're free and open-source and highly respected (Apple even supports them natively now). Google will get you these answers faster than anyone else.
