extracting from Access to Excel ( via java tool)  RSS feed

Is there are posibility that we can create a basic Java tool with applets , sot that with a button click we can transfer somne of the data from Access database to Excel.??? Any ideas are apreciated !!!

There is a possiblity to transfer data from Access to Excel. I am not sure if you are going to like it however. If you want to do this you will have to write COM-components in VB or C++. These components can be addressed using JNI (Java Native Interfaces). This is rather complex. And if only data transfer is needed these conversions are best written in VB or C (or .NET).

I think you can get an ODBC/JDBC driver for Access and use poi to read/write to excel.
