Hello all,

I have a set of PDF file that I would like to print. Now I can print individual files but what I would like to ensure is that these set of files are printed in sequence. i.e. no other job gets to the print spool between any of the print jobs for these set of files.

Thnx,
Jack

Useful tools:

1) A megaphone
2) A sharp pair of shears for cutting cables

No, just kidding.

You presumably just need to send all the files as one print job. Doing this from Java is going to be pointlessly awkward, but there are simple platform-specific solutions.

Hi Ernest,

The shears, not a problem. the megaphone. project management says over the budget. . So that solution is out of the question unfortunately.

In the meantime I was looking @ MultiDocPrintJob. So seemingly there are some classes in the API to handle this. Problem is not figured out a way to use this. Any ideas???

Also would be great if you could point me to one of those platform specific solutions for Solaris.

Cheers,
Jack
