Hi all,

Can anyone throw some light on how to do configurable forms creation in JSP? There should be a tool which helps the end user to design the form with the desired attributes (any form controls) and the application should generate the form on the fly as defined by the end user.To put it simple I am looking for something similar to that of "Microsoft Infopath 2003".[This needs client side footprint]. I beleive there will be some decent tools existing. And also give your inputs on how this form data can be captured into database without the need for on the fly construction of table structure.

tx in advance for the knowledge sharing,

pkrk

Isn't Jim funny?

Seriously though, he is right - please follow the links and adjust your display name.

And welcome at the Ranch! It's not always that silly here, but always fun!

Ah, that's already better, but we actually require a first *and a last* name. So I fear you will have to adjust it a second time.

Anyway, this seems to be strongly related to JSP, so I'm moving it to our JSP forum...

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
