Calling awk script from java programs

I need to parse a text file having huge columns of data with a java program. I wanted to know how to call awk scripts that i have made from java program.

The Java Intermediate FAQ has a link to an article on how to call external processes from Java.

There's also a Java package that provides (amongst other things) AWK-like functionality: Jakarta ORO.

Thanks for the links. I was able to run the awk scripts from my java programs.
